Never buy a used car nobody has seen.
You found the car on mobile.de, AutoScout24 or Marktplaats, and it is hundreds of kilometres away. Our inspector goes to the seller before you pay: measures the paint on every panel, test-drives the car and calls you from beside it.
Photos do not show what costs you money
A listing shows what the seller chose to show. These are the three things buyers call us about.
Accident damage, resprayed
A repaired collision is often invisible in photos and in person. A paint thickness gauge shows it: a resprayed panel reads clearly higher than the rest of the car.
The odometer has been wound back
We compare the reading with service records and registry history, and on request read the control units for traces of manipulation.
You are 1 500 km away
Once the car is on a truck, a dispute means arguing across a border in another language. Before payment, you can still simply walk away.
From listing link to decision
Send us the link. We do the travelling, you make the decision at the end.
Send the listing
Any European site: mobile.de, AutoScout24, Marktplaats, Blocket, Leboncoin and others. We reply the same working day with the fixed price, travel included.
Same dayWe call the seller
We confirm the car exists, is still for sale and can be inspected, and we book the visit. Fake listings usually stop here, before anyone travels.
24 hInspection at the car
170+ checkpoints, paint thickness on every panel, 40+ photos and a 20-minute test drive with the seller's permission. The inspector calls you from beside the car.
2 working daysReport and your decision
A sealed report with photos and measurements arrives the same day. You decide: buy, negotiate with the findings, or walk away.
Same day
The inspector already lives where the car is
We do not fly anyone in. Our inspectors live and work in the countries cars are bought from, which is why an inspection takes days, not weeks.
Travel. €349 includes travel within 50 km of our nearest inspector. Further away, €0.65 per km for the extra distance, there and back. We tell you the exact amount before you pay. In other EU countries we still arrange the inspection; we confirm the travel cost first.
What the inspector actually does
- Body and accident traces, paint thickness on every panel
- Engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and tyres
- VIN, documents and the seller's right to sell
- 20-minute test drive with the seller's permission
- Known model faults and common inspection failures, checked on the spot
- Inspector's phone call to you from the car

Who comes to the car
In Germany, TÜV Rheinland-trained inspection engineers with additional training in used-car inspection and full equipment: paint thickness gauge, OBD deep analysis, battery test for electric cars and UV light for detecting cloned vehicles. Elsewhere, our own inspector network. Before the visit, the inspector's app shows the known faults of that model.
The report gets a checksum and cannot be edited afterwards. The inspector works for you and earns nothing from the sale, so there is no reason to soften a finding.

All prices include VAT. No commission from the seller and no percentage of the car price: our fee is the same whichever car you buy.
History first. If the history check already shows a reason not to buy, there is no need to send the inspector. Order both together and the inspection can be cancelled on the basis of the history, with the fee moving to your next car.
If something goes wrong before the visit
The seller sells the car first
Your payment moves to the next car. That is why we call the seller before travelling.
The seller refuses an inspection
That is a finding in itself. Your payment moves to the next car.
You cancel before anything is done
Full refund. We only keep the cost of calls and history checks already done.
What buyers ask before ordering
Do I need to be there?
No. Most customers are in another country. The inspector calls you from the car and goes through the findings with you.
Do I have to buy the car through you?
No. You can buy it yourself on the basis of the report. Our job is to find a reason not to buy, if there is one.
Can you inspect a car at a dealer?
Yes. Dealers almost always agree. With private sellers, a refusal is useful information.
How fast is it?
Our aim is two working days from order anywhere in Europe. With Express, within one working day.
In which language do we talk?
The inspector's call and our customer service are in English. Tell us in the request if you prefer German, and we will tell you before you pay whether that is possible for your car's location.
What does €349 not include?
Travel beyond 50 km, add-ons, the special-vehicle surcharge and anything related to buying the car. You see all of them in the price list above, and we confirm travel before you pay.
Send us the car
We reply the same working day with the fixed price including travel. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
